Evidence can be seen across campus, from the Oak Grove south of the Student Union to the Memorial Tower rising above the Parade Grounds. The most obvious of these military symbols are the two brass cannons located outside of the Military Science Building, a mere 500 feet from Tiger Stadium. They were donated to LSU from its first superintendent, General William Tecumseh Sherman, after the Civil War, and are the focal point of our Ole War Skule polo pattern. As a Lasallian school, Christian Brothers School embodies these values, represented through its crimson and white colors.
