Behind the Design

The scene at the Fairgrounds during Jazz Fest was our source of inspiration for this pattern, and the design courtesy of regional artist Burton Durand. It’s a vibrant celebration filled with live music, incredible food, and a diverse crowd. Multiple stages host a variety of artists, from jazz and blues to rock, gospel, and more. The air is filled with the sounds of brass bands, the aroma of iconic New Orleans dishes like crawfish monica, beignets and po’boys, and the sights of colorful art and crafts. Festival-goers dance, sing, sacrifice watermelons, and soak in the lively atmosphere under the Louisiana sun, creating an unforgettable experience that blends music, culture, and community.
